After studying sacred lore and ancient rites in the Order of Bards, Ovates and Druids, training and qualifying in Celebrancy with River Jones, serving as a druid and a celebrant became my call. It is now my vocation and my privilege, to bind two hearts, bless the name of a new human being, assist people through the thresholds of age or bless the final journey. Holding hands through the cycles of life, celebrating the cycles of the great wheel of the year and invoking the blessings of nature, is where my task dwells, being both a guide and an intermediate between this world and the invisible ones.
A good ceremony is one where the magic flows, when emotion fills the air reaching the heart, and when we feel truly part of the universe. Being of service to sacred rites in the community is a true pleasure, and I welcome with a warm open heart, anyone wishing to engage my services
I enjoy composing personalised rituals. I am blessed with organisational and interpersonal skills which bring out the best in people. It is my pleasure to adjust the ceremony to suit different traditions and understanding. It is vital to offer everyone a personal experience and a sense of comfort within all the different elements of the rite
Above all, it is your ceremony, and I look forward to helping you making this day very special! You can contact me by email and we will develop a personalised ceremony, following your wishes and expectations, for any of these life events
As a fully qualified druid of the Order of Bards, Ovates and Druids, I lead the grove “Solas an Iarthair” - “The light in the West” in Irish - on the Dingle Peninsula in Ireland. We facilitate free public ceremonies for the eight Celtic festivals of the year, and you are welcome to follow our Facebook page Solas an Iarthair → for all the updates
I can provide particular blessings for special places such as wells, houses, people, animals, or even reconsecration of ancient sites
What a beautiful day to celebrate your union in the way of the ancient Celts!
Let’s create together the wedding of your dreams...
The ancient tradition of hand fasting or Celtic wedding consists of binding the hands of the bride and groom with a green cord, or a green ribbon, to symbolise their union. The druid’s task is to inscribe this rite within the web of the Universe, invoking the blessings and recognition of the ancestors, of the elements and the spirits of nature. It is a sacred rite, with ancient echoes of alchemy and magic. In all the hand fastings I have performed, deep emotions flowed with joy and the air was sparkling with beautiful energies
Get in touch with me and after knowing a bit more about yourselves and about your expectations, I will provide a sample of a ceremony, which will always be adjustable following your wishes
Also named Rites of Passage, these ceremonies celebrate the different threshold in a life of a human being, following the druidic tradition
Special blessings for places,
people, animals, and ancient sites
A blessing is a sphere of light, love and life. It is the magical act of wrapping a being or a place within a bubble of protection, healing and luck, through the invocation of the powers of the elements, the spirit world and the ancestors, and the giving of offerings when required
There are places and persons who need physical or spiritual healing, or even sometimes a bit of luck, courage or positivity. My task is to come and perform a magical ritual adapted to your query
